This is There’s a ghost by Fleurie on their 2013 album Fear & Fable. It’s an extended play with 7 songs, this being my favorite.
I hope you enjoy my interpretation.

This is my version of Crash Boom Bang by Roxette the Swedish duo, in 1994. It came from their fifth album, which has sold over 5 million copies.
Hope you enjoy. Sorry about the bad lighting
This is my version of “Jeans On” by Lord David Dundas (Yes he is a Lord, English nobility) in 1976. It got to No3 in the charts. What started off as an advertising jingle ended up as a huge hit for him.
The Music Gear Zone Acoustic Competition for 2017 was held at Northwood Crusaders Sports Club in Durban North. It was organised by C-Weed Entertainment Promotions.
The main prize was a slot in the White Mountain Music Festival on the 28th to the 30th of September 2017.
Fortunately the judges like my brand of music, folk-pop and I won.
In addition to the amazing slot at White Mountain Music Festival, I won a twelve string Washburn acoustic electric guitar and other equipment valued at R15 000.00.
It’s very exciting to get the guitar. It will mean a new skill to learn. Fantastic.

If you can make it to the festival you should.
I, Melanie Nash, am a South African born Singer, Songwriter and Musician. My music is a mixture of Folk-Pop & Contemporary.
I started singing from the young age of 6 years old and at 13 years I started playing the acoustic guitar. The song writing began soon after I learned how to play a few songs. My love of song writing became a passion and a focus in my life.
“There are many sides to me, there are many sides to my songs and I write from the heart”.
“It is hard to write a song for the sake of it as there is always a truth in every song I write”.
“Most of my songs are a reflection of the experiences in my life”.
I feel most fulfilled in the creation of unravelling lyrics and melodies.
“It is a very special and magical experience to be able to create a song, especially a song born from struggle, heartache and bad times”.
“It is these songs that are the most beautiful and how people relate to them in many different ways that is also a fantastic experience.”
In 2011, I started my music business teaching acoustic guitar and vocal training. My love of teaching has also fuelled my passion and it gives love to help others, especially children in their musical journeys.
I intend to continue writing songs for other artists and to grow my musical career through more exposure via various media such as radio and live shows. I intend to get the name Melanie Nash Music out into the bigger world, and not keep it to myself, friends and family,
I have recorded songs which are on Reverbnation and Soundcloud and is currently working on my latest material for a recording.
I won the 2017 Music Gear Zone Acoustic Competition organised by C-Weed Entertainment Promotions.
I consider myself as an old soul, untamed and drawn to the simple way of life.
“If I can make some difference to someone through one of my songs, my purpose here on earth is achieved”.
One of the most important day of my musical career, and my life in fact, is the White Mountain Music Festival, sponsored by Music Gear Zone and organised by C-Weed Entertainment Promotions.
It takes place from the 28th September 2017 to the 30th September 2017
The venue is the stunning White Mountain Resort, near Giants Castle (See Map)
My slot is at 11AM and lasts an hour, that’s a fair number of songs, considering each song is around 3 minutes (about 15 songs with a bit of a gap between them)
This will be the biggest audience, by far, that I have played to. I am looking forward to it but with some trepidation.
At the moment I am collecting my thoughts, choosing my songs and practising. Practising a lot! The fear of failure is big!
It is pretty difficult to decide the songs to play. Do I use my existing material or do I write more. To write more though is a gamble, but I think I will write at least one new for the festival. Maybe about my getting to it and the excitement and fear the goes along with it.
Some of the songs under consideration are
and some cover songs
I you have any suggestions or comments please let me know.
White Mountain Music Festival is going to be huge for me.
I am so excited.
I cannot wait!
